The TEARS AGAINST SANITY Story
Rob Schneider has spent decades turning moments into laughter. From Hollywood sets to sold-out stages, he built a career on saying what others would not and laughing while doing it.
When outrage became a daily ritual, and everyone seemed ready to compete for who could be the most offended, Rob had a better idea. If people were going to melt down, they might as well earn it.
That is how TEARS AGAINST SANITY was born. The official party game inside his Collector Box. A competitive, fast-paced game built around bold humor, quick thinking, and fearless delivery.
Because if you are going to stir the room, you might as well make it fun.
WHAT THIS GAME IS
This isn't just a board game - it's a portable meltdown generator. You roll a die, stumble across the board, and unleash a Prompt Card so unhinged everyone else scrambles to submit the funniest Response Card.
You judge them all. Pick the winner. Flex your power. Pretend you're unbiased. Then it all repeats, spiraling into glorious chaos, fueled entirely by the most volatile substance on Earth: Tears of the Left.
QUICK SETUP
Shuffle Prompt, Response, Trigger, and Meltdown decks separately. Place Trigger and Meltdown Cards on board. Give each player 5 Response Cards. Everyone places their colored Tear on START. Highest roller goes first.
STRONGLY RECOMMEND:
Drinks (Tears of the Left Bourbon).
At least one player who can't take a joke.
A group chat you're willing to ruin.
HOW TO PLAY
Roll the die.
Move your Tear piece.
Draw a Prompt Card, read it out loud.
Players anonymously submit their Response Card.
Read responses as a group and pick the winner.
Everyone draws a new response card.
Winner rolls again.
Land on a Trigger Space? Draw a Trigger Card. Trigger Cards affect only you. Follow the instructions immediately.
Land on a Meltdown Space? Draw a Meltdown Card. Meltdowns affect everyone. Especially the player in the lead.
REMINDER: This is a social game. If no one is offended, something has gone terribly wrong.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
3-6 players.
1 flat surface. (a table, floor, or symbolic high ground.)
1 Game Board.
1 Tears Die.
1 Tear Piece Per Player.
Playing with a Full Deck! (Prompt + Response + Trigger + Meltdown Cards.)

Q: How many players can play?
A: 3-6 players. Any more and the game devolves into a committee.
Q: Is this game political?
A: It's emotional. Draw your own conclusions.
Q: Can I explain my Response Card?
A: No. Silence is part of the experience.
Q: What if I don't like the Prompt?
A: Fascinating. Proceed anyway.
Q: Can we skip a Trigger or Meltdown?
A: Absolutely not.
Q: How do you win?
A: You reach the end of the board.
Q: What if someone gets upset?
A: Pause. Offer a drink (if they're over 21) and resume immediately.
Q: Can we play with teams?
A: No. Accountability is individual here.
Q: Can I refuse to read a card out loud?
A: Umm? You can, but the table will remember.
Q: Are inside jokes allowed?
A: Encouraged. Explanations are not.
Q: Can we play sober?
A: Yes. We're not responsible for the outcome.
Q: Can I lie about what my card says?
A: You can try... Dishonor will follow.
Q: What happens if we run out of Prompt or Response Cards?
A: Shuffle the discard pile and continue like nothing happened.
Q: Is there a right way to play?
A: No. But there are many wrong ways.
